The Open Championship - What's in the Bag

Golf’s 3rd major championship is underway at Royal Troon Golf Club as it plays host to the 145th Open Championship in Scotland.  The top TaylorMade staffers come into The Open in prime form as they look to take their shot at glory in golf’s original backyard. Links golf requires a unique style of play that makes the world’s best get outside their comfort zone to execute difficult and creative golf shots.  Swirling winds, sideways rain, and deep pot bunkers are just a few of the obstacles players face when battling for the Claret Jug.

In an effort to adapt to the ever-changing conditions that The Open Championship presents, TaylorMade staffers are adjusting their sticks to make sure they are primed and ready for anything Mother Nature throws at them throughout the week.

Here is a look at some of the changes Jason Day, Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose, and Sergio Garcia are making as they gear up to attack Royal Troon on Thursday.
